Coffee burst

Again my photo doesn't do them justice but this pair of New Balance got me looking. Mint colourway and I bet they are Air Max comfy but with that little bit of NB originality. Just what you like to see when sipping a coffee and watching the sun shine

Zooooom

Along with those trainers that used to light up when you walked these are EVERYones dream shoe. Why would you want to Rollerblade/Skate/have a car when you can have Heelies? I didn't realize you could get larger sizes until searching on You Tube where there are some serious Heelers out there and they are over the age of 18 for sure. The idea of rolling up to a bunch of friends with a pair of these gives me the same feeling of having had several coffees (I only just found out about the Dunkin Donuts grande, cheaper in Madrid than here but still good). Summer fun here I come
Where and what? There not mine but I LOVE THEM

Fresco como lechuga

Nice little Spring release. The green is not done much justice with my flash here but its nice, bright and super fresh. Owner of these had a big big smile from his latest purchase, a little contagious and only encouraged me to want and go sort my self out with a little Easter present.

Terciopelo

They remind me of the dresses some girls used to wear to parties when we were 5, matching hair band an all. "I bought them a looooooong time ago" she told me- which led me to think that maybe these were her 'special event' shoes, like for Christmas time or when you should be wearing something smarter than sneakers but "they got velvet on them- they go with the jacket"......

"I see the world differently"

Kind of fell in love with these bad boys. Set off with the “hello im green” trousers, they are simple and clean, original and chilled. I did suggest that I wanted them but the response was pretty dire “there were only about 10 of them made in this colourway and I want another pair”.

The best part of this whole chat was the extensive blabbering about the colourway only for me to find out that the guy was colourblind. Colourblind? Yeah colourblind. Meaning the colourway that we had been chatting about and agreed was so special was completely different for both of us- something like the red was orange and the blue was purple. We might as well have been talking about Barca v Madrid….. I dont even want to start on the green trousers.

What do you do? skate for DC and so I got them free from them

Right little pair

Pointer KC- name kinda suggests what the shoe is. Whether your thinking of that nice looking smooth haired dog, the person over there talking to friend and subtly hinting your way or the Kid Cool bit. They are a great looking shoe that will elongate any leg. The colour Grape suggests they should only be worn by the sophisticated with street cred and preferably lounging over the side of chair all sexy right there. Better still why not let them hang out with your boys Vans over a big glass of vino.

Lady: what do you do? Casting agent

Guy: What do you do? I flit between here and Bristol to look after my shop on park street and hang with my girls. Check it out http://www.5050store.com/

Party feet

Named after that tiny island of the night, Ibiza, these little bombers are perfect for your all night dancing. My first car was a Ford Fiesta, I just wish id been kitted out in both and wearing a red bull t-shirt and pocketing a mini bottle of Vodka to complete the "party 4 life" theme.
They make me feel like summer.
Where did you get them: small shop in the centre of town- I forget the name

Pumpin

Rewind to Nov'09 and 20 years from the day the Pump was unleashed, 20 stores were given free reign to design their very own pair. The fully functioning pump inflates the air cushion and therefore increasing jumping ability- in 1991 Dee Brown boosted popularity of the shoe when he was seen 'pumping up' his Reebooks (All Star Slam Dunk 0:47) just before scoring some serious dunks and going on to win the competition.
Along with these 20 collaborations the Original pump was re-released in a black-white-grey cw. Info above is roughly how my conversation went with the owner. Pride in your shoes shows.

Same life

The chance of meeting someone with the same shoes (not that they're some Limited Edition or that I payed serious $ for them) completely overwhelmed me..... thoughts that went through my head = " I bet we'd get on really well" "we are obviously similar kind of people" "hey jealous she has smaller feet than me" "we are in a queue for the same night WO ho, similar tastes in shoes and music!!! unbelievable".....Luckily, none of this was expressed out loud.
Where did you get them? Nike store (I nearly exploded at this answer. nooooooo way so did I!)
What do you do? currently studying
You can tell by her answers she totally felt the same way.

2gether 4ever

2 Camareras, 1 couple, 2 pairs of Nikes, 1 love.

If I had a bar id have it here, kinda close to the beach so that I could go swim when I wasn't working, id have a bunch of sneaker pictures lining the walls, worldwide snaps of all styles and sizes, drinks would be long and colourful, quality and enjoyable, food would be free tapas, music would be varied and what I felt like....... but most importantly the waiters would be decked out in the flyest kicks.

Late night love

I saw these at the end of a long night and the owner, complete with super style, nice camera and great chat was a delight to bump into....
He and his girlfriend were from Girona and no sooner had we opened our mouths and spoken the sweet tones of English than an invite to their home if we were ever in town came our way.
Something I definitely have to do and if these shoes are anything to go by then I better get to Girona quick.
All for spreading the love- check out Estels flickr loopindahoop
What do you do: Cook... but you should definitely get this camera, you know.
Where did you get them: Limited Editions.....

What I did miss was the soles

Black Van Man

This is subtelty at its best. This devious pair of Vans are made from bullet proof ballistic nylon, which means their durability would impress even the most hardcore skaters!! part of the second syndicate of Vans (Syndicate 002). Not usually a big Van fan but these are super smooth and through these cold winter days whilst rebounding any stray bullets im sure these would happily keep your feet dry and cosy- kinda James Bond- y
Where did you get them: well their boxfresh, Ive had them since they were released in 2006 but only just been back home to sort out my collection....
Sort out your collection?? yeah I had way to many and I gave away a lot as presents to family and friends...
Hi im size 39!

yes ladies

I used to spend hours and hours on my gameboy-the-size-of-my-head to help ease the pain of car journeys. Mario was probably a favorite and when id had my fill Tetris was the one. Little did I know that in '08 Puma would get on it and give all the gamers out there a little mental pair of brick themed sneakers. Sadly you cant see but the yellow print is falling bricks!! 90's love.

What do you do?

Feelin it

Where did you get them?
well I work for Footlocker so I got them there

Not a favourite but when you wear bunches (snoop dog) and where them like they should be the effect is smooth and subtle with that little bit of italian.

High and fly

Have managed to leave behind in 09 any details of these two but reckon they shouldn't be forgotten!
